Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Engineer to join our consulting company and be a key member of our client project teams. As an Azure Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Microsoft Azure-based solutions for our clients, ensuring that they meet their specific business requirements and objectives. Responsibilities • Solution Design: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and design robust and scalable Azure-based solutions. Create detailed technical specifications and architectural diagrams to guide the development process. • Azure Implementation: Lead the implementation and deployment of Azure solutions, ensuring that best practices are followed in areas such as security, performance, and reliability. Configure and optimize Azure services to meet client needs and industry standards. • Cloud Migration: Facilitate the migration of on-premises applications and data to the Azure cloud, providing expertise in migration strategies, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations. • Cloud Security: Assess and address security risks in Azure environments, implement security controls, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. • Integration: Integrate Azure solutions with existing on-premises systems and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and smooth functionality. • Performance Optimization: Monitor Azure solutions, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve system efficiency and response times. • Client Management: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understand their business needs, and provide strategic recommendations on Azure adoption and utilization. • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for client solutions, ensuring all configurations and architecture decisions are well-documented. Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent • Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing Azure-based solutions, with a track record of successful project deliveries. • Azure Certifications: Must hold relevant Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar. • Cloud Technologies: In-depth knowledge and expertise in Azure services, architecture, and deployment models. Familiarity with other cloud providers is a plus. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, security, and identity and access management (IAM) in Azure. Experience with Azure DevOps, ARM templates /Cloud Formation/ PowerShell scripting. • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to address complex technical challenges. • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, project teams, and stakeholders. • Client-Focused: A customer-centric mindset, with a commitment to delivering solutions that meet or exceed client expectations. • Adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic consulting environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting to changing requirements.
